Red Multy type, Short Day.  Medium volume of plant, very fast bolting and medium - low weight.

Open plant. Nice red color. Better results in winter.  Medium thickness and curled leaves. Good uniformity and medium number of leaves.

These "MULTi" types of lettuce are similar to the Salanova or Artisan types. Leaves are joined low at the base of the plant so the lettuce head can be prepared with a single cut - a real favorite at restaurants and local produce markets.

Cobain is a Midi-romaine type for soil and hydroponic cultivation. Very strong for tipburn. Open to medium closed head, suitable for small whole heads, single romaine leaves and teenleaf production. Many leaves and narrow shape. Very strong for twisting.
