These "MULTi" types of lettuce are similar to the Salanova or Artisan types. Leaves are joined low at the base of the plant so the lettuce head can be prepared with a single cut - a real favorite at restaurants and local produce markets.

Cobain is a Midi-romaine type for soil and hydroponic cultivation. Very strong for tipburn. Open to medium closed head, suitable for small whole heads, single romaine leaves and teenleaf production. Many leaves and narrow shape. Very strong for twisting.

One of the most widely used Okra varieties. An Heirloom type, Clemson Spineless is a vigorous plant that produces good quality, dark green pods without spines. Plant grows to around 4 -5 ft tall and pods are best picked when 2.5 to 4 inches long. Traditional favorite for soups and stews. Can be canned, fried, roasted or boiled.  Pods get much bigger, but small pods are more tender.
