Multired 54 is a double red spiky type multileaf with deeply incised leaves and very small cut points.

This compact type keeps leaves small and yields well producing compact heads with good vigor, excellent tipburn tolerance and fair bolting tolerance.

These “MULTi” types of lettuce are similar to the Salanova or Artisan types. Leaves are joined low at the base of the plant so the lettuce head can be prepared with a single cut – a real favorite at restaurants and local produce markets.

Unlike field varieties that are widely sold for use in greenhouse, these varieties are smaller framed allowing for higher plant populations with exceptional rates of growth that mean plants reach maturity much more quickly.

A red Multy type with oak leaf shaped leaves, Long Day. Good vigor of plant, but not compact, good bolting and low weight.

Brilliant red color. Upright plant shape.  Thin and smooth leaves. Very big leaves and lower uniformity of product.  Medium shelf life. Very nice plant.

A more coarsely Multy type, Short Day. Good vigor with good compactness, medium bolting and very good weight.

A very fine curled Multy type, Long Day,  Compact plant, good bolting and medium weight.

Nice brilliant green color. Good bolting.  Thick and very fine, well  curled leaves. Very good shelf life, presentation and volume of the leaves.

Multigreen 50 is a high yielding Multigreen 3 type, ideally suited for the fresh cut industry but also provides an attractive head shape making it a good choice for whole head and farmers markets.

Multigreen 50 is a compact plant with high vigor, nice green color and a great leaf formation combining high yields, high quality and uniform leaves. High vigor makes it suitable for both early and late productions
