Multired 54 is a double red spiky type multileaf with deeply incised leaves and very small cut points.

This compact type keeps leaves small and yields well producing compact heads with good vigor, excellent tipburn tolerance and fair bolting tolerance.

These “MULTi” types of lettuce are similar to the Salanova or Artisan types. Leaves are joined low at the base of the plant so the lettuce head can be prepared with a single cut – a real favorite at restaurants and local produce markets.

Unlike field varieties that are widely sold for use in greenhouse, these varieties are smaller framed allowing for higher plant populations with exceptional rates of growth that mean plants reach maturity much more quickly.

External leaves are relatively big. Ideal for multicolor/trio mixes.

Multired 80 has a good shape with an large, open head shape. This is an early, medium vigor variety with very good tip burn tolerance and bolting resistance

Verdon (Untreated seed)

Long Dutch cucumber or English cucumber Verdon is a vigorous variety suitable for plantings between February and August. Verdon is a strong grower and has demonstrated strength against root and stem diseases. Verdon will produce a full canopy of leaves with medium length cucumbers.

The production is not as high as Addison RZ, but this is a great choice for off season plantings or where diseases have been present in a previous crop. Verdon is highly tolerant to mildew, strong against pythium and fusarium and has CMMVIR

Crispol is a new  mini-romaine-iceberg lettuce cross with much better head shape, bolting and tip burn than existing varieties.

Crispol has a great closed head shape,  is a medium sized with a medium green color suitable for production in all regions and across all seasons. It has sweet inner crunchy leaves with good tip burn tolerance and bolting resistance.
